Spring is an exciting time for Cider Hill Farm! From our opening day to orchard walks, plenty of events are happening during April and May.
2025 Season Opening Day

On Friday, April 18, get ready for Cider Hill Farm’s opening day for the 2025 season! The farm store, bakery, and play areas will be open from 8 am to 6 pm with a hard cider-tasting beginning at 6 pm. Plus enjoy a free jam tasting from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, April 19 where Cider Hill jam maker Memere is sharing her incredible knowledge and samples of jam she makes right on the farm. Add free coffee and treat tasting with Kaha. The food truck opens for the season on April 26.
Self-Guided Spring Orchard Walk
This self-guided orchard walk is a favorite for the spring season. Join Cider Hill Farm and observe 10,000 beautiful fruit trees as you walk through the orchards beginning on April 19. The Spring Orchard Walk is open Saturday to Sunday 8:30 am to 2:30 pm from April until May. There is no registration required to visit these orchards. We recommend visiting in late April to mid-May. It is closed on Easter Sunday, April 20.
Tulip Fest 2025

Get ready for Tulip Fest 2025, running May 3 to 4 and 10 to 11. In this special festival, 100k tulips are set to bloom, accompanied by live music, self-guided orchard walks, outdoor hard cider bars, food trucks, fitness n’ family activities, and cut-your-own-tulips. While you’re at the Tulip Festival, you can explore the farm store, get some grub at the food truck, and play at Farmer Glenn’s Trike Yard and horse swings. General entrance to view the tulips is free but you must purchase a ticket online for tulip cutting (walk-in tickets will not be sold).
You can also pick tulips outside the festival, with picking beginning in the first week of May and going through mid-May (per availability).
Tea Tranquility & Mindfulness
Let spring be a time for you to take a breath and slow down with our Tea Tranquility & Mindfulness event on Sunday, May 11 from 12 pm to 2 pm. The founder of the wellness organization Blue Fern will take you on a slow gentle walk in the blooming apple orchards. Throughout the walk, you will be guided through simple mindfulness invitations designed to awaken your senses. The walk concludes with a tea gathering where you’ll sip on a thoughtfully selected brew while taking in the orchard’s tranquility. This is the perfect event to take your mother or caregiver to show your love as it takes place on Mother’s Day.
Head on down to Cider Hill this spring season and enjoy all the fun on the farm!
