Children's Thursday Discovery Day Program

Cider Hill Farm offers weekly STEM and STEAM based classes every Thursday classes. Families have the opportunity to investigate crops, meet farm animals and spend time exploring farm life. Each week brings something an engaging, hands-on activity from building solar powered ovens to creating pressed flower pendants and homemade sun catchers. Participants get to have a farm snack.
Free "Lettuce Grow" Program

Cider Hill Farm offers free weekly farm class on Wednesdays. Families take a short sensory-based farm hike and then plant vegetables, flowers and herbs to take home. This program, designed and run by Cider Hill Farm, has been made free to the public by the ongoing generosity of The Charles E. Larner Family Foundation, which helps grow young farmers through agricultural scholarships, grants by promoting agriculture to and helping children.

Free! Family Yoga with Relief Parenting

Join us for free family yoga at Cider Hill Farm across the street from the Farm Store. Childlight Yoga Certified Instructor and owner of Relief Parenting Resource and Respite Center Krista Maltais will teach skills about yoga to little children through play. Kids will learn about body awareness, improve social-emotional skills, increase their attention span, and bond with caregivers through songs, games, and imaginative stories. While this class is more suitable for ages three to six, all ages are welcome.
